For the past 20 years, “Atelier Catherine & Arnaud Lemoine” has been focusing on restoring inlaid furniture and objects. In our work with fine marquetry and wood veneer, we use a wide array of techniques specific to our craft and follow the high ethical standards of our profession.

A Studio of Expert Craftsmen

We specialize in the restoration of “classical” furniture (commodes, secretaries, cabinets, tables and desks…), of individual antiques (cartel and mantel clocks, boxes, inkstands, frames…) and of rare objects (unusual antiques and collectibles, antique weapons…).

We work on a variety of marquetry techniques: fine inlaying, “Boulle” marquetry, butt-wood marquetry, flower and geometric marquetry…

We handle the restoration of various materials: exotic and indigenous wood, ivory and bone, tortoiseshell, horn, galuchat and mother-of-pearl, brass, pewter…
